The wire and connector pack for a 800~1300 class Hexacopter or Octocopter (6~8 rotors)
This pack includes the cable and connector you need for a big drone, please expect you need to do a lot of soldering for such project.
Checklist for building a drone :
• 16AWG Wires Red and Black X 7m
This is the ESC power cable, 7m of wires will cover a 8 rotor drones with max. 80cm long arms, please cut the desired length for your drone.
• 12AWG Wires (60cm)
This one connects with the battery, that means you solder a battery connector on it, and the other end connects with the Power Board or Power Hub.
• Servo Extension Cable (50cm)
Use to connect ESC with the Flight Controller, this package has 10 of them (some for spares), 50cm long.
• XT90 Connectors
XT90 is a very large Battery Connector, great for guys with large fingers, we usually use this on big helis with large electric current, but we also use this on big drones for easy operation. We included three pairs, so you can use two of them to solder on your battery, and one of them for the drone.
• 3.5mm Banana Plugs
Each motor will need 3 pairs (1 pack) to connect with a ESC, we included 8 packs for each motors.
• 4mm Banana Plugs
This 4mm Banana Plug is specially for Tarot 800~1300 class Mult-Rotors Frames, like the T810, T960, T15. These drones have a power hub included, that need a 4mm banana plug to use, so we put one in this package in case you are building those Tarot Frames.
• 4mm, 5mm, 8mm Heat Shrink Tubes
If the job involves soldering, you will need Heat Shrink Tubes, we included 4mm tubes for the 16AWG wires soldering, 5mm tubes for 12AWG and XT90 connectors soldering and 8mm tubes for general purpose.
• Parallel XT90 12AWG Cable (2M1F)
For a 800~1300 class multi-rotors, it usually use two battery packs, this Parallel Cable combines two battery into one big capacity battery, like two 5000mah packs into one 10000mah pack. We put XT90 connectors on the cable, that means your battery also needs to be XT90 connector.
• JST Connectors
Solder this connector to the power line hub or power board, so you have a power supply for other device. However, becareful of the voltage, for drones that large you are usually running 22.2V, some devices requires 12V (sometimes the camera gimbal), that means you need to use a UBEC to convert 22.2V into 12V.
• 12V UBEC
Use this to convert higher voltage (4~6S LiPo) to 12V for device that need 12V, such as camera gimbal.
