Unknown species landed on Earth earlier today, people called it Walkera Y6 "Scorpion" Hexacopter
It is the first of its kind. When we talk about Hexacopter (6 Rotors), it usually look like an "X" shape Quadcopter with two extra arms, but this Y6 "Scorpion" is a different, it has three counter clockwise rotors on top and three clockwise rotors on the bottom, this is quite interesting. This arrangement makes the aircraft look like a scorpion, it flies beautifully! With the advanced 6-Axis Technology from Walkera, the structure of the aircraft is super simple, it's just 6 motors mount on 3 graphite booms, and all the motors plug directly into the Gyro circuit board, very neat and tidy design, and the best part is the Y6 "Scorpion" is SUPER durable, why is that?? Because it's the Y6 is so small and light, considering the size and thickness of the boom set, they are actually over sized, they made the Y6 almost indestructible from any crash. We put in the battery and start flying this little reptile, we were so "WOW", it was amazingly stable, I was simply moving the Throttle stick up and town, and the Y6 just stay put in one spot, I say the 6-Axis Gyro is doing a great job. I'm really happy with the built quality of this product. Then I begin flying around, it was fully under control with no drifting at all, there were ZERO vibration or blurry vision on the rotors, everything was so well balanced. By adjusting the DR (Dual Rate) setting on the transmitter, you can control the bird's responsive speed, so no matter you are a beginner or advanced player, you will feel happy with this little scorpion. Not only you can "Fly" it around to explore the land, if you want something exciting, you can flick a switch on the transmitter, the Y6 will turn into "Rolling" mode, you give some speed to the Y6 and hit the elevator stick, it will start going 360 degrees to complete a loop, this is great fun!
