We loved the 4#3B, it was a break through in size and performance few years ago,. And now Walkera has launched the successor of the 4#3B, called the V100D01, with plenty of upgrades, we tested this new baby and we can say it is much better developed! The all new V100D01 is the Smallest Flybarless Helicopter in the World that fits right on your palm. It features a 3-Axis Gyro which has the Auto Stabilizing Technology to give you a smoother and stable flight, and there is Two brushless motor on broad, one for the main rotor and one for the tail rotor, with the upgraded Tail Speed Controller, the tail motor now starts without hesitate, it spins right the way, providing best head holding performance. We love this baby flyer, since it has no "Flybar" structure (less energy consumption), it provides about 2-3 minutes of flight time over the old 4#3B, and thanks to the Flybarless rotor head, it is now much more agile yet very controllable. Somebody may compare the latest CB100 (Bell Rotor Head) with the V100D01 (Flybarless Rotor Head) since they look very similar, I would say that CB100 is super stable, much more stable than V100D01, but some body may find it "too slow", they want something more exciting and faster respond, in this case the V100D01 is the answer! It is much quicker and more agile, great for people has basic RC heli skills.
What is a Flybar?
The flybar is a short, thin metal rod placed on top of the helicopter. It is part of the rotor head’s structure, usually attached with a paddle on both ends. The flybar is a stabilizer. The heavier the paddle and longer the flybar, the more stable the heli. However, you can compensate by using the high-tech 3-Axis Gyro. The onboard RX2441V Super Controller makes the V100D01 fly so well that it performs just like an ordinary rotor head helicopter.
Why make it "Flybarless"?
Flybarless means less moving parts. That saves energy and allows you to fly 20 to 30 percent longer. Also, less parts mean less repairing. Flybarless is the future of RC helicopters!

What is 3-Axis Gyro?
3-Axis Gyro means it can sense X, Y and Z axis moments, that means body leaning forward / backward, body rolling left / right, tail drifting CW / CWW, it will constantly monitoring any off-balance in all directions, then it will give signals to all CCPM servos and Rudder servo to balance the helicopter, it works constantly and unless you have the helicopter drifts to much, you will not even notice the system exists, please take a look at the following picture.
What are the difference between CB100, V100D01?
Of cause, they may look very similar, but they have totally different flying characteristic. The biggest difference is the Rotor Head design, CB100 is a Bell Rotor Head Heli, it is Ultra Stable, specially made for first time flyer, but some advanced player may find it too "Slow", they want something more exciting, and that's why Walkra made the V100D01. It has a Flybarless Rotor Head, it means very responsive and agile, or in another word - "Very Fast". Since Flybarless Rotor Head has the nature that it lacks of stability, so they added a 3-Axis gyro onto the heli to increase stability like 80%, this is very high tech stuff, Walkera has made it real small that they claims it is the smallest Flybarless Helicopter with 3-Axis gyro in the industry. That means, for beginners who wants a "Less Sensitivity" and "Perfect Hovering" heli, go for the CB100, if you passed that stage of training and looking for something faster, go for the V100D01.

The new WK2403 Digital Transmitter
Thanks for the success of the top of the line WK2801 transmitter, Walkera used the same appearance and make the new WK2403 4 Channel LCD display, 2.4Ghz Digital Transmitter. No need to flick switches at the back, no need to guess which button is for which purpose, by using the new WK2403 transmitter, you can simply adjust the channel trimmings, servo directions or throttle modes from the LCD display.
Difference between WK2402 and WK2403
WK2403 has two new features over the WK2402. One is the Dual Rate Switch for Elevator / Aileron / Rudder Channel on the right corner of the transmitter, this makes "Less Sensitivity" when you move the sticks, it is a good feature for beginners. Another is the "Throttle Limit" on the left corner of the transmitter, this makes motor spins slower, but we think it is pretty useless for all players.

V100D01 is the smallest flybarless helicopter. We tested this helicopter for indoor and normal outdoor flight, it flew great! Our boss has put this on the desk to play all the time. The Tail Motor has done a great job in holding the tail, kick start is much easier than 4#3B, because they have updated the programming in the tail ESC, the heli is now very stable and responsive. We took this baby in the park, we find it is able to resist light breeze, the heli is fast enough to respond to your corrections. We recommend this helicopter for every experienced RC Heli player, but for beginners, you may also try this model, but we suggest you put on the training kit first and hover it on soft ground, like your bed or soft grass. V100D01 has much less moving parts (fewer things to repair) and longer flight time, should be every flyers’ dream.
