Very Stable Helicopter with a onboard Digtal Camera - That's interesting! Lama180D01 w/Camera Version
Walkera LM180D01 is a new breed of RC helicopter, it is a Co-Axial Helicopter but it does not have the heavy stabilizer bar
on top, it is Flybarless and it has a 3-Axis Gyro to add a bit of extra stability, and because of the simplicity in the rotor head and main frame, it is 1/4 lighter than ordinary Co-Axial models, this makes the heli even faster and responsive. We were amazed by this heli because it flies very fast and make sharp turns in light breeze condition, because usually Co-Axial helicopters are slow respond and unable to fight wind, but for this one it's a different story, it has the Stability (thanks to Co-Axial Structure) and Agility (Flybarless + 3-Axis Gyro), which gives you a unique flying experience. LM180D01 flies very fast and able to fly outdoor, this feature alone makes it worth a try for those who went thru the Co-Axial Helicopter stage (beginner's stage). In the video below you may notice the Speed and Sharp Turns, which is usually absence in most Co-Axial helis. Now Walkera packed a 300,000 pixel digital camera on it, controllable thru the Transmitter, switching ON and OFF, from Photo mode or Video mode, plus the very stable 3-Axis Gyro enhanced Lama180D01 Heli platform, it is a very interesting toy to "Shoot" around the house or in the park.
What is 3-Axis Gyro?
3-Axis Gyro means it can sense X, Y and Z axis moments, that means body leaning forward / backward, body rolling left / right, tail drifting CW / CWW, it will constantly monitoring any off-balance in all directions, then it will give signals to all CCPM servos and Rudder servo to balance the helicopter, it works constantly and unless you have the helicopter drifts to much, you will not even notice the system exists, please take a look at the following picture.

LM180D01 is a Beginner's helicopter, it is super stable because of the Co-Axial Structure and 3-Axis Gyro compensation, yet it is able to fly much faster than "Ordinary" Co-Axial models because of the flybarless rotor head. If you are 100% fresh new players,
we recommend those low price palm size 3-Channels Co-Axial Toy models, they are basically indestructible. If you want something bigger than palm size which you would outdoor sometimes and more challenging, this LM180D01 is your choice, we also recommend you add training kit to the landing skids before you fly it. Do not worry about the "Fast" speed we mentioned above, you can simply flick the "DR" switch on the transmitter, the helicopter will fly much slower, just like ordinary Co-Axial Models.
