Great Scale Toy Helicopter for Adults and Kids, highly recommended by Helipal.
For those who know a bit in helicopters, this U806 palm size toy was inspired by the Bell 212 Helicopter, it looks very beautiful. This U806 is the latest 2010 version, equipped with a 4-in-1 infra-red receiver (Gyro, ESC, Mixer, Receiver). This palm size helicopter (20cm long) has a Great detailed fuselage, it's very beautiful, we would say that it doesn't look like a toy, but a very serious Helicopter. It is able to move in 3 Direction base on the 3 Channels, anyone can hover it easily. It even has a Remote Light Switch on the transmitter which is able to turn on the light on-broad the helicopter during a flight, very interesting feature. Since it is made with light weight plastic, the main structure is able to survive many crashes, perfect for very first time beginners. This toy helicopter is designed for anyone over 8 years old, flight time is around 4-5 minutes after 20-30 minutes charging. It can fly in 6 directions. They are:

- Rotate Clockwsie / Anti-Clockwise
- Move Forward / Backward
- Move Up / Down

patricklupo from RC Grounps, 'I got one of these U806's for Christmas as a gift and was pleasantly surprised. It's a tiny bit slower than my 9808 but has a few features that make up for it. If your looking for a low cost gift to get a kid, the false rear tail prop prevents the real tail blade from breaking, should it back into a wall. The fuselage looks to be durable and it's yet to fall out of the air when the main blades hit a solid object (just keeps on flying like nothing happened). Mine came with a USB charger and spare main & tail blades.

Yaw gyro is solid and the U806 has a feature where the tail motor gently slows down (versus stopping) when you release the elevator stick. You'd think this would cause undesirable behavior, but it completely eliminates the backward rebound pitching that's common in coaxials. This alone makes it much easier to navigate tight spaces that my 9808 could never manage.

Total weight was only 28 grams yet it comes with a 150mAH lipo that seems to last longer than the upgraded 210mAH in my 43 gram 9808. The yaw trim on right side the controller is easy to access without taking your hands off the controls and there's a similar trim knob on the left that turns the front white LED (spotlight) on/off. The only other lights are a couple of blinking side red LED's that complement the scale appearance.

The only downside I've found is that the short landing skids allow the heli to sometimes tip back on it's tail while taking off. You either have to punch the throttle or apply a bit of forward elevator during lift-off.

Transmitter

The infra-red transmitter is also the battery charger for the helicopter. It required 6 x AA Batteries (not included).

Simple Way to Recharge Battery

Simply connect the charge wire to the Helicopter, it will be automatically charged up from the 6 X AA batteries from the transmitter, it's that easy!
