Fantastic helicopter. Better suited to outdoors on a calm day or a large indoor area. I say this as it's very fast and responsive, due to the flybarless design. It is however very stable and with practice you will be able to manoeuvre it around in a small area. I can gently move mine around in a small indoor area, and my only prior experience was with a CB100.
Flight times are great, 8 minutes plus. It's quiet, smooth and responsive and the tail holds extremely well. Durable too, the only weak point is the gear system for the shaft driven tail. If you crash with the blades spinning, you will strip a gear. Not a major issue, cheap to replace and under 5 minutes to fit a new gear once you're familiar with the procedure. Order some spares ahead of time.
You get a lot for the money: Flybarless, aluminium head and shaft, brushless main motor and a shaft driven tail with pitch control.
The transmitter included in the RTF package (WK2403) is brilliant. Large, easy to read and backlit LCD display, dual rates and throttle limiter switch, digital trims, can charge NiMH batteries directly from the TX or use a LiPo, and it feels nice in your hands and is solidly built.
Here's my first flight of it in a small indoor area: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngh25EB5cZg ...
