Hi all budding Lama 400D flyers. Since I Ordered my first Lama 400D I have used it some 12 times. Then, problems with the lower blades and screws breaking in the Swashplate and the Hollow shaft. I have ordered parts "inner Shaft and Swashplate" and when in stock "Hollow Shaft". I have Ordered another Lama 400D as I am impressed with the stability and ease of flying the copper. I would recommend, as I am going to do is .."drill larger holes through to the Hollow Shaft and use slightly larger screws not aluminum screws they break to easily.I would also recommend Ordering extra parts when purchasing the Lama 400D. I still am of opinion that for an armchair pilot like myself "this copter is 5 stars". I have also used a 11.1V1800mah battery which is heavier, but well balanced and gives a flying time of 10 minutes.

Hi all at Helipal. I just received my Lama 400D. It is just great, it works perfectly. It is easy to fly, and a joy. Thanks for sending everything Ordered. It took 8 days to receive. I can recommend the Lama 400D to any budding flyer.

*** my heli took a spill, got new blades, motors cause the other one cooked. new speed control cause that cooked as well. once all done repairing. it will not fly let alone hover. its like a top one way or the other. i think my reciever got fried as well. please help. any one with comments...

already had got the 5#10, but this Lama 400D is more stable, very precise to fly, despite its size (nearly 24" long...). Very nice the battery holder: you do not need to remove the canopy to change the battery, which stays firm inside, and allows a quite long flight time. You can fly this Lama indoor if you got enough space, and outdoor with calm or very little wind. The one I have seems to be too much "zoomed", so I added a few grams of lead on the nose (a easy and reversable way is to use a coin and some tape and stick inside the canopy). Great heli !!!

I just got my 2nd Lama 400D Heli, really impressed with this Heli. Such a nice flying heli, right out of the box. Lots of power, very stable, easy to fly, more fun than a Barrel of Drunk Monkeys !!! Fixin to see if i can hit Mach 1 with right now, wish me Luck. Kirk In Texas

The first one i ordered, the wind took it to Hong Kong, from Texas. Best flying Heli i ever bought, I had to have another one, so i ordered the Red one this time. Lot better Heli than the Big Lama, Blade cx2, Blazing Star (another kick air heli), Easy to work on, heli pal keeps a good stock of parts. I live in Texas and i get my stuff in about 5 or 6 days, i don't know how they get it here so fast. Them big blades this copper has , really kicks the air, it has good power, cool Helicopter, when i crash the Red one i ordered, I'm going to get another.. Thanks Helipal for the Great service. I take it on the Train with me , fly the Hell out it... Got to go, battery just went off, fully charged, time to Fly........ Kirk in Amarillo , Tx

It's HUGE, a single blade is longer than my lama 2. Flies very stable, but I wish it can fly faster, maybe longer the servo horn will do? Wish helipal have some hardened blades for this giant?
