I have finally got control of my CB100 - steep learning curve! Unfortunately, not untill a few crashes including on the roof of my house!!!! So I need to replace a few parts ... does anyone have any handy tips on joing those small wires???? I end up with more solder than wire - perhaps there is a mini solder iron or something?

My walkera CB100 flies really great! I already own a walkera lama 2-1 and a lama 400D. This CB100 is the next step after a co-axial helicopter. It flies just out of the box. You don't need to adjust something. It is stable in hovering and you can fly it in a small room. I only have one crash with it, and there is nothing wrong with it. As I mentioned, the heli is great, but the delivery wasn't that great..... My package was delayed because of customs inspection. It took more than 2 weeks to deliver to the Netherlands. When I received my package I noticed that the charger was a charger for the United States!, not an European charger! They forgot to put the adapter with the package. It wasn't such a problem because I already own a walkera lama 2-1, so I can use the same charger. I mailed Helipal to ask if they could send me the correct charger. Within one day I got a response. They were sorry and they would send me an European charger adapter. I received it today and I think the service from Helipal is very good. Fast response when you mail them, and they did send the adapter. Helipal is one of the best! So I give them 5 stars.

Finally, and I must admit, after a number of spectacular crashes, I am getting te hang of ths machine - not quite the toy it seems to be! Once I discoverred "mode 4", with the elevator reversed, things got a lot better!

I just received my CB100 today...only took 6 days from Hong Kong..not bad. I charged the battery's and after about an hour i'm hovering and learning the ins and outs. This thing is so small and quiet and built really well. I've bumped a couple things here and there but its holding up well. I can now take off and have full control each time but don't have the room to really open it up although it seems fast. Helipal gives you an extra battery...2 sets of main blades...a spare tail rotor...a nice stater package. I'm happy I made this choice and bought from these guys. Thanks

My favourite micro fixed pitch helicopter. Brilliant design and flight characteristics. The quality of included components exceeds that of an MSR or Solo Pro, best of all no upgrades are required. I've flown mine daily for over 6 months and am still on all original electronics. If you keep the tail motor lubricated with a couple of drops of non-solvent based lubricant (Tri-Flow or Inox MX3 work wonderfully) it will last forever. The TX included with the RTF kit is great and far superior to anything offered by E-Flite or Nine Eagles. Flight time is great, with consistent 7-8 minute flights each time - mine will fly for longer than this but I feel it is not healthy for the battery or motors to run this long. Once trimmed out correctly, it is extremely stable and will hover and pirouette on the spot. It's fast too and corners nicely. It is a beginner to intermediate helicopter but one I will never get bored with. The parts most susceptible to damage on this heli are; the landing skids (although they usually just bend and can be bent back into shape with pliers); the tail boom and the tail rotor. The tail boom can be a little tricky to repair as you need to solder very tiny wires. I would recommend ordering 2 x tail rotors, 1 x tail boom, 1 x tail wiring kit, 1 x landing skid and 1 x canopy if you're an absolute beginner and anticipate crashing a lot. Thankfully, all these parts are dirt cheap.

I also fly Trex-500 and -250, but the CB100 is really great indoor fun. Its now hundreds of flights "old" and still works fine. Control it with utmost precision - fly from room to room, desk to desk and mousepad to mousepad. :) Thank you for this great microheli ...

simply amazing. i've always wanted an rc helicopter and finally found one worth taking a shot for. aluminum head, brushless motors, 2.4ghz for less than $200? what a deal. i took it out of the box and charged the first battery while i played around with the radio. after about 20 minutes it was charged and started the second battery (you get 2). i had flow a buddy's msr a few times in his house and managed to hit every wall and piece of furniture he had, longest sustained flight was maybe 20 seconds, this after about 50 hours of simulator time. i took this one up out of my hand and on the first flight had it trimmed out and hovering mid-living room for a few minutes at a time. after a few battery packs of flying i threw on a extra set of weights on the bar and now its a rock. only breakage has been to the tail blades on table edges. also the boom splintered a bit after some hard outdoor crashes. i got all the spares i could need for the next year for about $30. i hope i can find a mid level heli that compares to this experience.

First of all, I am a super green newbie at flying helicopters. I have more years of RC'ing than I care to admit, but have never once flown a chopper. I'll leave flight reviews to those more experienced but I can hover after 2 packs and I am thrilled with this little bug. This will keep me quite happy threw the 'long season' here in Chicago. I really want to give some good feed back to Helipal. I'm impatient by nature and waiting just isn't in my vocabulary. I purchased this package at 5pm on Tuesday, it was delivered to middle America at 9am on Thursday. How do they do it?? Amazing service... I'll be back.

It's a nice heli it's stable and it's more intresting to fly than a lama v4 the only problems are the blades they break so easely and to buy a set of new ones or even just a tail roter blade is expencive for the size and how easely it breaks if the blades were stonger or cheaper I would have given this heli 5/5.

I got my CB100 stuck in a tree ( it was very windy ). The next day it rained the following day there was a major wind storm. My Heli. got blowen out of the tree and I left it 1 day to make sure it was dry. Next I tryed it , thinking nothing would happen and I would have a lot of extra parts , but it still worked . I was very happy . CB100 s are surely very durable .

In continuation of my previous review I found the problem to be a weight imbalance that I later found out. Some helicopters that walkera ships have this problem.

I got the product within 6 days from the date I had ordered. The product was good but the problem is there is no one to guide me here to repair and stabilize the helicopter. For example if you have some small crashes then you may not be able to repair some kinds of damages only an person well verged person can do. So I would not recommend this product unless and until you have a good support from some friends who know more about it. I brought it and now after a single crash the blade is hitting the fly bar and I am clueless. I tried flying it and it became worse. Now the heli is lying in my cupboard. I hope I find more people who have this hobby so that I can get it up and running.

Why does walkera make the tail wiring harness so short and the wires so fine. Its so easy to break or stretch the wiring. This is so hard to work with. Normal people own these helicopters too, not just technicians.

Cb100 update: from the date of purchase, my CB100 is still flying well, no parts changed, still the same little crack in the canopy repaired with tape, still a bit of tape 'round the tail boom... All the other helis I've got can't tell the same glorious story (King3 has flown too little to have a proper story...). And now I let you watch what a beginner like me can do (having lotta of fun) with a CB100 (think about the fact I had to "slow" it, in order to keep it within the camera field...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9bh960RYE4

Still flies beautifully and smooth (it's the first one I bought, for the second one still sleeps quiet in the box, waiting for the first one to had the Great Fall...). The two brushless motors make a lot of difference, for the smoothness and durability. Till now my CB100 has got some major crashes but at worst the consequences are a little break in the canopy left side (repaired with some double stick band+a bit of white porcher marine) and a bit loose tail boom... If you're an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER, buy a Lama2-1 for indoor flying and this CB100 for outdoor flying (ONE of the TWO helis, buy BODY ONLY, you can use the same transmitter!!!). OR, no matter at what level of skill you are now but do not like to waste your time or break your brain trying to set up/repair a CP heli... BUY a CB100. A "must" is the ALU CASE, and you carry your CB100+transmitter+batteries+training kit anywhere you like (it stays also in a motorbyke case...). Have to wait for your girlfriend who's late all the time and you do not want to smoke ten sigarettes in the meanwhile (so getting more and more nervous...for her to be late, and for you full of nicotine)? Well, take out your CB100 of the case and enjoy yourself and the passing-by people 'till she arrives... NICE FLYING TO EVERYBODY

confirm very good heli performance and construction: it's tough, and flies well. Who has not got it yet, must buy one (if you already got a Walkera transmitter, you will buy the BODY ONLY) and fly outdoor even with a little wind...
