I also have bought a Storm 450 heli. I would also like to know how to program the WFLY WFT07H controller for basic flying. Screen capture of the WFT07H would help. Please any help with the programming screens would be greatly appreachted. Right now when I go to take off the heli want to spin. not sure why? The trims are all @ 0, I have a rock 5 gyro, not sure of the settings. I asked a Expert, he said that the gyro needs adjusting, he also notice that the MIX was on instead of INH. in the "gyro setting" screen. I don't think this heli was actual flown.

I have had this heli for a couple of years now. Started with the double rotor models and worked my way up. The Storm 450 was the most stable, easy to work on, dependable of all the rc helicopters I've owned. I have crashed it so many times almost all the parts have been replaced. I have used mostly Align T-Rex 450 parts as they seem to be cleaner and of higher quality. I believe I have the glass fiber frame and truly that is the only part I haven't changed out. I don't fly 3d yet as I own an Mac (WHY DONT THEY MAKE A SIM PROGRAM FOR MAC'S?), but this helicopter is the perfect size, so stable in a hover, super fast just flying around, and, I've found, reacts really well when trying to recover from what would normally be a sure crash. I recommend this helicopter highly for anyone looking to upgrade from the double rotor heli's and the ones with less than 6 channels.

Very stable right out of the box. I got the fiber glass edition with WFLY radio. Curves were all set properly.
As soon as you take it to 3-4 meters above ground and avoid the engine wash vortex you will notice that it is very stable and responds quite fast to your inputs.
I flew it with some breeze and in the head lock mode, no side winds manage to make it looseorientation. The Rock-5 works as intented.
Now its raining and the little beauty is grounded.
So far i havent tried any 3D crazy stuns but if hovering is that stable i know that i can expect the same quality from the later stuns.
An advice for international pilots. If you like this make sure you buy a body kit for harvesting spare parts and as a reference.

the glass fibber and the carbon fibber is different because, carbon fibber is stronger and will take a rely bad crash before it breaks,
and also its not only the main frame thats different the servos are different, the carbon fibber reacts faster than the glass fibber.

Good looking heli,only took only 5 days to michigan,fast shipping.Had to track the blades.Will see how she flies with fully chaerged battery.Not sure on how to program radio,any help would be great.

This is a great heli! This was my first collective pitch helicopter, after having an Esky Big Lama. I used the training gear about 15 times before I removed it, and I haven`t crashed it yet. The price was right, the shipment was fast and the heli had a perfect set-up! It is truly ready to fly. I`m really surprised how stable it is in hover! This was the perfect helicopter for me, so I am really happy! Remember to buy an extra battery.

I don´t regret Jackie´s advice....THIS IS SOME CHOPPER !!!!! IT'S ROCK SOLID !!!!! ROCK STABLE !!!!!! And at 2,600 meters above sea level IT'S REALLY POWERFUL !!!!!.
Fast shipment like allways, between 5-7 days to México.
I will keep buying at Helipal like I been doing for a long time, it's not only the price, the service is excellent.

I got the 450 GF and it is great! Shipping was awsome. I didnt fly it right out of the box but checked it over for loc-tite and alignment and balance. I found some problems but I want it to be 100%. I would recommend the carbon fiber unit. it comes with a switching ESC. the glass fiber has a linear ESC which gets hot too soon. I had a friend buy one from here and I have another getting ready to get one. I do recomment the training gear and the computer simulator. I will save you repair money.

wow what a good chopper, I have owned it for about 4 months now and haven't crashed yet because of how strong and reliable it is, it has a very high RPM which gives it that stablity that it needs. Its more or less a clone of the trex 450 but for a cheap cost very good for a beginner heli of the bigger size, shouldn't need a training kit , very easy, nice power.

TANKS GUYS! This is an unbelievable Heli!! Just right out of the box the Setup was perfect, didn't change Pitch or something else! This is the best Heli I bought even better than the Align T-Rex 450! Hoovering is unbelievable stable! Also shipping to Austria in 4 days! That's lightning fast!

If anyone can help im looking at buying this chopper but not sure weather to get glass fibre or carbon fibre, because all i think it is, is the make of the heli and when I have a crash it won't brake as easy and plus im saving 130nz dollars so if someone can fill me in on the difference? thanks

My 1st 3d capable heli, learned to fly with it. Took a lot of bad crashes and survived ,only broke blades, feather bar and landing gear (and piece of wall). For learner pilots, remember to re-check the swash-plate setup after each crash, the servo’s can be knocked out of proper alignment. You also must loctite all the screws. Very fast shipping and excellent packaging, highly recommended
