A COMPARISON BETWEEN TWO NICE HELICOPTERS. You would like to buy a micro helicopter and evenctually came to HeliPal, you're a beginner, an absolute beginner, you go up&down along the web pages, look at all the shiny models and do not know what to get...(that's was my story...) WELL: if you intend to let the heli fly your little son, NO DOUBTS, get the Free Spirit, it's almost armful for people and objects, and very tough, still being a TRUE RC helicopter, fully controllable in these directions: forwards&backwards, up&down, left&right, left&right rotation. Two flight modes: NORMAL and EASY. No chargers (you need only 4 AA or R6 batteries), no problems. Only great limit: NO OUTDOOR FLYING, this heli is too lightweight. Its second limit is that you cannot use the transmitter for other heli models or RC models. So, if you want to go over these two limits (and do not have your own limits), go to the Walkera helicopters page and look at the Lama2-1: it's much more sensitive and reactive, it can fly outdoor (little wind), its transmitter is suitable for all the 4-channel Walkera helis, and with a proper receiver you can use it with boats, airplanes, gliders, cars. And it is not much more expensive. ...
