I have finally installed the Flymentor 3 D on using the following changes: the USB within Windows Vista has to be installed after going into the "Control Panel" and "Install Driver for Older Devises with Add Hardware Wizard" then-- DO NOT connect the Orange wire to the AUX port of the RECEIVER and connect it to the GEAR port instead. Off course my system is Exi 450, Specktrom DX7s and AR8000 receiver.
Procedure after installation as per manual in my case and connecting driver to computer to operate the "Heliball" as follows:
1.- Just click on "LOAD" or "READ" to obtain "Mounting" and select "Front", "Right" and "3s 120 degrees swash"-- then "SAVE" or "WRITE"; now click on "SERVO" then click on "LOAD" or "READ" leave Servo 1,3, and Tail "Normal" and just "REVERSE Servo 2 (check to see if all move correctly) then change all "NEUTRAL" to "0" and "SAVE" or "WRITE".
Select or click on "CONTROL" with the same procedure as per the MANUAL with "LOAD" or "READ" and ending with "SAVE or WRITE" (see that all numbers and positions are as per manual) follow same for GYRO and ADVANCE.
LASTLY CLICK on "SAVE" to CFG File to have a copy of all parameters within your computer. Rating is excellent over GOOD after fine tuning everything to my flying preferences.

Ce que je peux te dire, Eric, c'est que c'est pour le moins "compliqué" à mettre en oeuvre, ce Flymentor, j'ai renvoyé une première fois le matériel qui ne fonctionnait pas, en retour j'ai reçu la même chose et c'est une vraie galère sous Windows 7 à programmer comme il faut. Je n'ai peut-être simplement pas de chance !!!

Dera sir,
I am sorry that your heli is crashed, I believe there must be something that has setup incorrectly. First, I used a Win Vista computer in install KDS software, becuase we simply don't have XP computer in the shop. I have put some wiring and setup tips on the KDS product page, I would suggest you may want to take a look. I've installed a lot for customers, so far so good.... And becuase of the system will take over your control, so I would suggest a lot of observations and testing is needed before taking it outdoor.

I regret ever buying the Flymentor 3D, it has completely destroyed my helicopter and it never even worked properly! Once I mounted and hooked it up as the manual said, I attempted to load the software on my computer with Windows 7. If you run Windows 7, don't even think it will work because it won't. I then tried my older computer with Windows Vista, driver loaded this time, but still wouldn't hook up with the Flymentor. Apparently this is a problem with most users. Finally I loaded the software onto my 3rd computer that's running Windows XP, with XP the driver loads well and it actually connects with the Flymentor as it should. However, after making all settings the Flymentor still doesn't work, only red steady light which is manual mode. No position hold or anti-drift. I used to be able to fly my T Rex 450 pretty decently now with the Flymentor I can't even get it to lift off the ground without it flipping over and blasting another set of $50 rotor blades. Not only did I waste my money buying this thing, but now I have to spend extra time and money removing the Flymentor, repairing my damaged heli, and then hopefully I can return my TX to the originaly settings and then hopefully I can fly my heli again. We'll see if she ever gets off the ground again.

In this file, there is a USB driver for Vista or Win XP, and the KDS setup software, I just try it and it worked, please give it a try.
Sorry that the mail is quite full recently, me and my staff are taking care of them non-stop, but still many mails, sorrt.

I purchased this and installed it on a Storm 450.
The installation when well but when I tried to program it using my computers the computers would not locate the USB adapter.
The computers I used has Windows 7 and Windows 98 installed on it. At this point I can not use the stablizer due to the fact you must
program it using a computer. Until the software drivers are updated I have a system that is nonfunctional.
I send a email message to the customer service on 12/27/09 and still have not recieved a reply.

Hi there, I would say, the Flymentor requires a better Radio System to use, at lease you can set Pitch Curve or Throttle Curve. In this case, Belt-CP's transmitter don't have this function, so I will not recommend you to install this Flymentor on the Belt-CP. However, if you have a better radio set, please go ahead and install it on the Belt-CP, it would be fun.
