this main gear must be made to strip? Maybe to save the motor from undue stress buy 5 at a time! I hope the airy gears are better!

this part brokes any time the blades touch the ground. It is the worst part of this design. Nevertheless it is a good heli.

Does anyone know of a more robust equivalent for this gear ? It is extremely fragile and every time it is changed is worst for the other components that must be removed (and screw holes wear out) in order to replace it. I quiet agree with that, I brook 5 times this main gear, I wish Walkera will change that very quickly, this part is not strong enough for what it is made for. Please Walkera !!!!

This gear breaks very easy. I habe broken four gears in a few lights. once broke some tooth as the heli was aceelerating dor take of and in other instances in the hub where the pin holds the gear broke. This part appears to be the weak point of the heli. May shold be an optional part a little stronger. Enrique Chile
