nearly two years of working beautifully (I've got two B6s), not a problem. The advantage of this charger, beyond its durability and efficiency, is that it already comes with all the right cables. Remember you need also the power supply, which is external and keeps the charger cool (also from its fan) ...

I have got two B6s for one and a half year and still work perfectly, though they are on nearly every day and more than once a day. Fan is an extra detail which makes the difference compared to other friends of mine chargers. And overall quality. And also complete cables included in the kit, whereas you may need to look for an adapter or a special connector. Get the multicharge adapter too, you can't help it *** http://www.helipal.com/multi-charging-cable-for-li-po-charge r.html *** and the power supply ...

I could not get this charger to work with my PC ether until I read this review and it fixed the problem, you have to put "USB enable" in the "user set program menu". By default its on "Temp max 80C" change it to "USB Enable" then every thing works just fine. ...

Hi folks.
I have one of these units - it came with a computer program which has loaded up OK, but I can't get the computer to read any data about the battery being charged/assessed.

Hi there,
For a 1200mah battery, we usually use 1.2A to charge, more than that will cause extra heat on the wires, those wires are so thin, I don't think they can take too much current.

I just received the GE B6 toghether with the multiple charge cable. Everything's ok, but I don't know what's recommendable in order to charge 3 7.4V - 1200 mA batteries. Is is better to choose the 1.2A option or a higher one, for instance 3.6A? Thanks a lot for you help. ...

I'm having a problem with one battery(Storm - 7.4V - 1200mAh - 18C), it gives me a low voltage error (http://gallery.me.com/vitor.azevedo#100008) .. i tried a balanced charge, but no success in fixing the problem. Is this battery damaged? Is brand new, do i ask for a refund/replacement or it is a solution to fix the problem? ...

Somewhere the INSTRUCTION MANUAL is not enough clear, and have got no pictures how to connect the various cables, i.e. for balance charger of more than one battery with the accessory cable LE-0022 (it's an extra cable, not in the box). FIRST connect the LE-0022 (or the adapter that you find in the GE B6 box -it charges just one battery at one time) to the BALANCE OUTPUT of the GE (you find it on the right side of the charger, at the fan level). Then connect the T female to the T male connector of the MAIN CABLE (output DC cable).
BALANCE CHARGING - IMPORTANT: for the manual do not say much and no pictures show it, I spent quite some time before I realized why the charger kept on displaying the message "CONNECTION BREAK" when I tried to use the balance adapter (LE-0022): you have to full the "line", that is you must NECESSARLY plug in TWO 11.1 V batteries or THREE 7.4V batteries or TWO 7.4V batteries (there are three lines of plugs), because the current goes from + end to - end and if you do not fill the line of the little sockets, the circuit is not closed and the charger warns you of the error. If you want to charge JUST ONE 7.4V or just one 11.1V battery, you must use the adapter you find in the box (this adapter allows you to charge one battery from 7.4V to 22.2V). REMEMBER TO SET THE RIGHT VOLTAGE (22.2V for two 11.1V batteries or three 7.4V batteries, and 14.8V for two 7.4V batteries) prior to start charging. Anyway any error is well displayed and alarmed with a beep.
The GE B6 has also 5 data storages, load program, Lithium Battery quick charging (you'd better prefer low charging, if you can), battery discharging mode , a battery storage mode (if you intend not to use for a long time), the possibility to monitor charging on your PC, a temp sensor… ...

This charger is very useful (just not to say INDISPENSABLE) if you have many batteries and many batteries of different voltage (and who won't be going to have many batteries if keeps on flying helis...?). It makes your recharges much quicker and you do not have got to check if your battery is ready (the B6 automatically stops charging when done). For instance: with the charger given with your heli, you need 65 to 80 minutes to charge a 3.7V 700mAh battery, whereas the B6 charges it in less than 30 minutes. It charges four 3.7V batteries in less than 60 minutes, and five in 90 minutes. It charges a 11.1V 900mAh battery in 60' at 1.0Amp and 30' at 2.0Amp, when an original Walkera charger needs 110' and an Esky 150'. With an extra cable you can charge at the same time, at Balance (Balance charging is highly recommended for LiPo battery with 2 or more cells i.e. 7.4V to 22.2V), two or three 7.4V batteries and two 11.1V batteries. The GE B6 has got a fan which keeps the running temperature very low (if you touch the charger, it is cold all the time), it tells you any time you are going to set a wrong parameter, it allows you to charge every kind of battery (NiMh, LiPo, Pb)... If you have to charge more than one 7.4V or 11.1V battery, REMEMBER to BUY ALSO the Multi Charge Cable for Balance Charge (code LE-0022) and if you have many 3.7V batteries from Walkera's helis, also the Multi Charge Cable (Walkera Plug) code LE-0027 (for charging 1 up to 5 batteries).
If you have 3.7V batteries of the Walkera 5#10 (JST plug) you need the Multi Charge Cable (JST plug) code LE-0028.
What else? DO NOT DO like me, who did not realize that IT IS NEEDED the 12V 5A Power Adapter (LE-0003) too, and had to buy it later (and wait 2-3 weeks for it to arrive...!!!).
P.S. My review is quite long but I had to tell you every helpful tip, in order to let you save time and money and understand what you really need... ...
