Why do you need a High Voltage BEC?
A BEC(Battery Eliminator Circuit) is a device that put between your battery and your receiver, it changes very high voltage battery (8V to 42V) that was used for your motor to safe voltage (5V or 6V) for your receiver, gyro or servos. This 5A HV-BEC is very suitable for fixed-wing aircrafts and helicopters which use more than 4 cells Li-Po battery.

By using this HV-BEC, you power your electronics with the same battery that drives your Motor, no need to use another battery for those electronics, so you save some weight and less trouble.

Switch Mode BEC have much better efficiency than Linear Mode BEC, so you get less overheat problem and longer battery play time.

What is the meaning of UBEC?
UBEC means "Ultimate" BEC, it is just the name.
